Samuel Romanzo is a Director and Senior Product Specialist for BofA Securities, a US Registered Broker Dealer affiliate of the Bank of America Corporation. He is engaged in strategic product initiatives of Prime Brokerage and Secured Financing in the Global Markets Division. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1980 in Securities Clearing Operations and worked progressively through various management roles from Assistant Manager of American Stock Exchange Operations, Vice President of Margin Services, Global Head of Equity Derivatives Operations, Director of Business Development for Structured Equity Financing and Head of Delta-one Derivative Trading for the Americas Region.
Mr. Romanzo has been a board member of the Catholic Foundation for Brooklyn and Queens since 2009, serving as Chair of the Finance Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Cypress Hills Cemetery and the Board of Trustees of the Saint Joseph’s Seminary as Chair of the Student Life and Formation Committee. He and his wife Nancy are active members and supporters of the Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Center for Thought & Culture.
Mr. Romanzo has been a resident in the Diocese of Brooklyn since 1985 and has been a parishioner of Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish in Bayside, Queens since 1993. He is currently serving as a Lector and has served on the Pastoral Planning Council including terms as President as well as the Parish Lead of the Generations of Faith Capital Campaign. He gave of his time and talent to youth sports in St. Robert’s for 25 years serving as a Coach, Athletic Director and then the Parish Representative to the Diocesan CYO. For his service and accomplishments he was inducted in the Brooklyn Diocese CYO Hall of Fame in 2018.
Samuel and Nancy have 2 grown children who are also located in New York City.
