Samuel Romanzo is currently a Director in Equity Markets Product and Platform Management, with a focus on strategic product initiatives in Prime Brokerage and Equity Financing at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Markets. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1980 in Securities Clearing Operations and has subsequently served in a variety of executive posts ranging from Assistant Vice President of American Stock Exchange Operations to Vice President of Margin Services, to Global Head of Equity Derivatives Operations, and Director of Business Development for Structured Equity Financing and Head of Delta-1 Trading for the Americas.
Since 2009, Mr. Romanzo has been a board member of the Alive in Hope Foundation/Catholic Foundation for Brooklyn and Queens serving as Chair of the Finance Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Cypress Hills Cemetery as Chair of the Finance Committee and on the Board of Trustees of the Saint Joseph’s Seminary and College as Chair of the Building and Grounds Committee. Additionally he has served on the Bishop’s Christmas Luncheon Committee since its inception.
A long time member of Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish in Bayside, NY, Mr. Romanzo is a Lector and serves on the Pastoral Planning Council. He has given of his time and talent since 1993 at various times as Basketball and Soccer Coach, Athletic Director and Parish Representative to the CYO.
Samuel and his wife Nancy have 2 grown children all located in New York City.
